5/4/08 - Kef Li San Diego - 4:00 pm - Medura for Lag Baomer/Yom Haatzmaout and Yom Hazikaron Butterfly Project & Picnic
Medura early (as Lag Baomer falls this year on Memorial Day week-end when a lot of us travel) this is the week of Yom Haatzmaout (5/8).
In honor of Yom HaZikaron too we're going to do a butterfly project in memory of those we have lost. (painting and glazing small ceramic butterflies as a group and they'll be displayed with others from around the world at the Jewish Academy in San Diego) More on the Academy's Butterfly project here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7QTax3vr4M I'll have a bunch of these for our kids to do and for the Academy to add to their wall for us.
I'll bring the marshmellows as usual. Please put me at ease and contact me early if you're
willing to volunteer to bring wood this year.
